Food/Drinks: None, if you’re taking the Inter-Island Ferry we recommend eating on board or driving to the grocery store in Klawock.
Other Things to Note: The Inter-Island Ferry departs from here everyday at 8:00AM and returns every night at 6:30 PM; it is the most reliable method to travel by and is the cheapest option.

Gas Station: Yes, there is one run by AC Thompson House and one run through Black Bear.

Other Things to Note: Island Air and Seaplanes are two of the main options to get on the Island and land here via plane. Island Air is the most reliable airlines on the Island as they fly IFR and can fly in most weather. Also, Black Bear sells hunting/fishing licenses and some gear.

Other Things to Note: Taquan Air is one of the main four ways to get on the Island and lands here via float plane.

Purchase fishing and hunting licenses and acquaint yourself with appropriate season limits

Inter-Island Ferry
The ferry runs once a day, leaving Hollis in the morning at 8:00 AM and then arriving in Ketchikan at 11:00 AM. Then it departs Ketchikan at 3:30 PM returning to Hollis by 6:30 PM. Is the most reliable travel option and is the cheapest.

Taquan Air
The only float plane option with several different landing points across the Island. Take into consideration that this option is very weather dependent.

Alaska Seaplanes
Located in Klawock, and is the only airlines with immediate flights to Sitka and Juneau.

Island Air Express
The most convenient way to travel to the Island because it departs from Ketchikan Airport direct to Klawock. They fly IFR so they are the most reliable flight option as they can fly in most weather.
